This is the perfect set for kids to get an introduction to pottery. The wheel is not very strong but, that is perfect for keeping kids safe. Definitely a gift for kids a little older - maybe 8 and up. The title shows it is for kids aged 6 and up but, this is probably a little too advanced for a 6 year old. The clay and paints are all great quality. Overall, a great set!
